Went for a drive from Moruya, ended up at Dalmeny near lunch time. Ordered fish and chips and chicken schnitzel burger . Fish was beautifully cooked with very light batter and decent size serve of fish. The burger was the best i have ever had, and struggled to eat it all. It's like an ordinary burger with the lot, i.e.bacon, cheese, egg and salad but with crumbed chicken instead of meat pattie. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and not overpriced for what you get.

Our order was ridiculously messed up, we had enough chips to feed an army, no wonder it seemed expensive. Did not make sense at all, I do speak clear English. Secondly, a worrying side issue was, the tea towel attached to the workers waistline, fell off no less than 3 times. The first time it was literally tramped on by the worker with her street shoes and simply attached back onto its position, instead of being discarded. Only for it to fall again and a repeat of the first time. If that wasn't painful enough to watch, it then fell off another workers waist, to the floor and you guessed it, reattached. Not an hygienic system at all in my opinion. They are constantly wiping their hands on those towels and then handling food. I wasn't impressed at all.

We are locals from Central Tilba and cannot fault the food at Michaels. The Salt and Pepper Squid is reasonably priced and is the best we've had also the Sweet Potato Scallops are FANTASTIC. We highly recommend this Cafe to locals and visitors. Jock and Kathryn McKellar.

I go to Michaels because it's got really good fish and chips and I love the seafood chowder. Most chowders have too much cream and you can hardly taste the chowder. Michaels sea food chowder is very tasty. Really good. The opening hours are also good and unlike most places in the area they are actually open early in the week. Thumbs up to a well run business which puts customers first

Just the best cafe for a feed. Very generous portions.. I had Barramundi and chips. The best fish in NSW. Great coffee and great service.

The is a top eatery there is a very wide range of take away foods. Along with the usual deep fried food and hamburgers they have pizza's and on Thursday night curry meals. Also drinks and ice-creams. It is great for families who are camping across the road or for those staying in nearby guest accommodation. The staff do work hard and fast but are always courteous and frendly

Wow what a delight. Called into Dalmeny for Lunch. A brand new coffee machine had just been delivered, being a soy milk kinda girl was extremely happy to see Bonsoy being the milk of choice. Was recommended for us to have the Kingfish panfried and a yummy brown rice salad. All the sweet treats on show had been made in house. Couldnt leave without trying the Raspberry Coconut Cheesecake. Will be back in for the Thursday night curry deal thats for sure. A very special cafe.
