Moonshine Bbq

the service and eating were fantastic. we spent several days on the half island with a lack of Luster service during our holiday. our first station after the ferry was moonshine bbq and we could not have asked for a better experience. the food was fast and hot (and delicious)!

really good grill. ribbing brisket had large smoked taste, delicate and juicy. chicken wings also had great taste and looks like deep fried before they are served so that the skin was crispy what I like. BBQ sauce was just okay. cole slow has too much edgy for my taste. super nice very friendly service. I enjoyed my meal today.

great service. beautiful atmosphere. had that meat, probably the best I had next to my own would go back.

Excellent BBQ. Last time they had smoked corned beef on the combo menus so we missed that but their ribs and brisket are absolutely amazing. We stopped here 3 times now on our way to Bellingham to visit kids at Western Washington University. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and the food and sweet tea is so freaking good!

Great environment, excellent cheesecake, fast friendly service. Go here with friends or family. Some of the meat was a bit dry but could have just been tonight. Three sauces on each table. TVs with sports. Outside area I didn't go into. The baked beans were amazing too.

Wife liked the brisket chili. I really like chili and did not like the taste of it at all. I had a grey cheeseburger and fries. It was pretty average. No smoked flavour. Wont be back

Absolutely wonderful place for dinner. My fiancee, and I split a 3-Meat combo (Kielbasa, Pulled Pork, and Smoked Ribs) and there was enough leftover for naxt day's lunch. The meats were all done just right, with great flavor and texture. The sides (Coleslaw, and French Fries) were quite good too! The Service was as good as the food, our server made us feel at home in the place, and made sure everything was in ship shape during our visit. 10/10, will be returning in the future!
