they enjoy the bbq and eat. very good. my food was not hot, however, and eating room temperature or cool meat is not for me. if it were hot, it would have been perfect. service was good and the food was served within 5 minutes when we set ourselves. atmosphere is very casual and bbq casual style. the restaurant has only opened at 14 o'clock. eating the other diner was warm and good.

we ordered the drawn blacks afteros and brisket cellar with green and Mac cheese. eating the variety of bbq sauces were delicious. only underpass was our table to swarm with bugs. 80% of the time when we fly and gnats drove away from our faces and means of life. would recommend eating, but maybe take it instead

stopped here to take a bit to kajak am see and see the great reviews and we were not disappointed! the restaurant does not take any reservations and was super busy and crowded, but that was worth waiting. We needed an outside table as we had our dog with us and they gave us an estimated 25 minutes waiting time that was quite accurate. ends up ordering the 1/2 rack with 1/4 chicken and a side of the pig wings, which unfortunately they had just run out: so ordered a side of the chicken wings instead. we wanted to spicy, so the waiter recommended the bourbon hot sauce, which was really good. I wasn't a big fan of chicken. the wings were ok. really the star of the show was the 1/2 rippchen for me! the flesh simply melted from the bone and the aromes were amazing! we also have the jalapeño pepperdew mac cheese as well as the corn bean salad as side and all orders come with cornbread, so it was a great part in all! on the table they also have squeeze bottles of the different sauces that were fabulous to try. my favorite was the original hot that made the huh much pale! our dog has a special treatment as well as a beautiful bowl of ice water and a doggo look!

Stopped on a Monday evening, pretty busy but 4 of us seated in about 10 minutes. It is an open air place, at because it was very hot, missed air conditioning. Had the ribs, pork blt and the brisket, which was particularly good. The loaded tater tots very good, as were the onion rings, red skinned potato salad and the collard greens. Good beer selection

You wrote a review for Nickel's Pit BBQ Corning A moment ago 5.0 star rating8/19/2022 I've been here 3 times now, this last time I brought the whole family and everyone loved everything, this place is a crowd pleaser. First off they are usually busy and do not take reservations, but trust me it's worth the wait. They have an extensive beer list and also have a full bar. We got the fried pickles and pig wings with the dry rub sauce. The first 2 times we came they were outta pig wings, so I was so happy to finally try them because they were so fricken good! Get there early because they sell out fast. My partner got the Brisket combo, someone got the pulled pork sandwich and I had the pulled pork salad, and everyone went home full and happy.

No resos accepted. We arrived 6 pm on Aug 11, 2022 and were told a 30 min wait. Within a minute, seats opened up at the bar which is where we wanted to sit anyways. We were able to talk to the friendly bartenders and have a great view of the street. Margaritas and gin and tonics. We had the pulled pork and brisket plates with various sides. All yummy and well done. Super fun venue for good BBQ and drinks

First stop before a hike. You can't go wrong with some BBQ to fuel up. The meat literally falls off the bone. Our group was looking for a little more flavor in the meat and even a spicy bbq sauce. The server was great recommending local ciders and even what to eat. The loaded tots are a must! As is the Mac and cheese
