Steve, the owner, met us with a friendly smile and promise of a great meal! He and the staff did not disappoint. The Chowders were excellent and the roasted Clams full and plentiful. The hidden jewel of meal? The colleague! Wow. Great stop in the middle of nowhere at State Rte. 9.

Delicious food and friendly service in this restaurant. The seafood is fresh, the pasta is exquisite and the desserts are baked in the house. The drinks are also great.

Never a bad meal. Always a good time. One time I went and the owner/chef overheard me say I wish they had their sautéed muscles (they are sometimes on the specials menu and weren't thus time) he came right over and said he could make them for me and ask if I would want him to. That was definitely awesome and they were ssssooooo good thank you!

Traveled from New Jersey and heard about this little spot. Best place so far to get fresh seafood, fried appetizers, burgers etc! The host/ waitress was very busy but we didn?t mind because of her good attitude. Everything was perfectly cooked. If I ever come back to Maine I will definitely stop by again.

The pickles were good. Our experience wasn?t great. We were served potato chips and stale tortilla chips with the orange crab dip (we?re Mainahs), the meals came out wrong, everything was JUST meh. Waitress was lovely but it was clear the place was very disorganized and not prepared. We were all afraid to eat any seafood after hearing about how dead it has been which was clear by the lack of customers and staff. Even the seltzer was flat. In response to the owner, it had nothing to do with lack of help, it definitely had a lot to do with lack of ambition. We were the only ones there and your server, who was lovely and I hate to call her out, was the one that told us how dead it had been. I believe she mentioned 4 tables and the other servers not bothering to come in most of the time because of lack of business. As a person in the business, it was a clear lack of leadership and care that was the biggest issue. Stale tortilla chips and potato chips with crab dip? Is that because you can?t find enough help? Seems like the ones there did the best they could with what they had provided to them.

Exceptional in every way! Melt in your mouth escargot, cup of chowder overstuffed with seafood. Shrimp and salmon piccatta and Coquille Ste Jacques (pictured) exquisite. Friendly smiling chef and staff to top it all off. Don't miss it if you're in the vicinity!
