large kitchen-friendly service Saturday morning breakfast will not be disappointed

So my friend, my servant dog, and I'm trying to meet here a few times a month. mostly for coffee and tasty. Surprisingly, there was hardly one today, so I was served immediately. not only are their baked were super freshly made they will add to it. the icey chile is to die! my only complicity is that they have no big enough to do it. not only did the owner pack the tasty bites for us, but he carried them on the table! since I am mobile challanged, I appreciate it so much! we'll try her dinner soon.

dogs welcome? she behaves perfectly and wore an identifying west and leine. was the challenge necessary? otherwise, the lower part was not made to order. donut and cannoli were delicious.

Delicious !! had spinach and feta soup, freshly carved roast beef sandwich made to order, and cupcake of the day lemon blueberry.

Great food! Pre-ordered the filet tips, and they were amazing. 5 star taste and quality!

I rarely rate anything a 5 star!This is a comfortable inviting eatery. You order and pay at the counter. There is a rare window into the kitchen. (SPOTLESS)The service is friendly and prompt.I orderd a small container of the soup of the day portobello cream soup. It was thick, flavorful and had many large (but manageable) pieces of obviously fresh mushrooms. It was perfectly seasoned. I almost didn't want to eat my half of the meatball sub I split with my sister but; I am so glad I did! This is a bakery so it goes without saying the bread was perfect. It was crunchy and a little bit flaky but heavenly light. It was the perfect companion for the tender juicy lightly sauced meatballs. The bread soaked up a little sauce without falling apart making it a relatively neat sandwich to eat. The sauce was perfectly balanced. Not too sweet or salty or acidic just delicious. The cheese was of a good quality so it stretched and released with each bite. It actually tasted good and added tothe overall quality and depth of the sandwich. not the one bite and it's hanging out of your mouth variety here).I had a piece of chocolate cake with cannolli filling. It rivaled any bakery in NY or NJ that I have ever had . .and that's saying alot.Someone loves this business and the community it's in. There's a large chalkboard for dreams as you enter a puppy..to marry so and so..own an ice cream shop).There is also an area with pre-paid meal vouchers taped to the chalkboard stating take one if you need to.Who wouldn't want to eat here.It's all about the love.

This is the absolute best place in town to eat! Outstanding food and excellent service and great prices Old World Bakery is our go-to when we want something special in Valdese!
