My husband and I are going from Indy to Culver once a year. We stop at the Culver Academy, go to the site and then drive to The Original Root Beer stand for lunch. I love this place. Eating is always good!

I love coming here. It is a tradition of style, since they are open only in the warm summer months. They make their own root beer here and so the root berry is a kind. I recommend you, at least if you go there. They have very limited parking spaces, but there is a great view of the lake from the picnic tables or the front. Really a must do when you go through or come to check the local offers.
Great place on a beautiful lake! I and my best friend are root beer-fanatics and we both agree that it's the best root beer fleets we've ever had.
