Oyster Bay Cafe

We had been on a two hour hike in the nearby Stocking Creek Park and wanted an uncomplicated lunch. Great sandwiches, wraps and salads with fantastic chowder. Good cheerful service, but if busy be prepared to wait a while--ten minutes or so. Prices are a bit on the high side but sandwiches are large, fresh and good. On the same dock are facilities for visiting sail and motor boats as well as a delightful little maritime museum.Busier on weekend with visiting boaters from BC and US. Open for breakfasts and , I gather occasional evening events in summer.

My lunch date and I had a wonderful lunch and super service! I'm coming back to try the Scallop Buternut Squash Salad ????

What a delight. Friendly staff. Great food. Excellent view. Vegan options. What a gem. We will come here every time we visit the island.

Beautiful day on the Marina dock. I had the 3 Cheese Grilled Cheese with Tomatoes and Grilled Onions. Fantastic! Best Grilled Cheese ever!

This cafe was opened by the fabulous Beantime Cafe in Ladysmith and they have continued to offer fabulous lunches. My favourite is the Seared Tuna . I told Michelle who took our order that the salad was fabulous and the Oyster Bay Cafe

We live in Ladysmith and enjoy eating on the dock occasionally. The food has always been very good. Everything is made to order and very fresh. The staff are friendly and do an excellent job considering the size of the kitchen. I must point out that they are open 7am - 2 pm Friday through Monday - not Friday - Sunday as some reviews have stated.

We came here because we wanted someplace we could eat out but not leave dog in boat in the heat. Went to restaurant for lunch and found it closed. Busy summer day and marina full. Why have a restaurant on the dock if it's not going to be open during the busy summer season? Very disappointed.
