The food was wonderful. The presentation of our food was nice and the food itself was delicious. The cook comes to every table and asks every customer how their food tasted was a nice touch. You could say that the cook makes the food with the pleasure of cooking. I would highly recommend this little restaurant.

Beautiful, intimate setting in an antique building next to an old covered bridge. Every dish made loving in this cook (and family) led restaurant.
Does not matter what you order every last thing is such a wonderful treat! full taste, only rich enough to pure heaven, but not too heavy. I am always looking forward to my next visit!!

Oh my my MY! Doting staff, delectable eats, timing of each plate; perfection! The chef came out to see how everything was, DIVINE! First escargot and locally sourced meatballs. My main entree; orecchiette with escarole and handmade chicken sausage. Ahumina ahumina ahumina…My husband had chicken breast with mushrooms in sherry, cream lemon sauce. Wowza! Make reservations now. Everything culminated to an delish dining experience. GO! GO NOW!
We think Peasant is the best restaurant in The Valley. The food is fabulous, the owners are down to earth and create such a good vibe for the place, the service is always good and environment is so comfortable and quaint.
