The waitress was great, but that's the only thing good I can say about this place. None of the three people in my party could eat the food. Absolutely horrible. $50 down the drain. Even the chips were lousy! What a shame! They've gone way down over the past few years. I wouldn't recommend!

Do they do karaoke on Thursday night ??

This is NOT your typicsl Mexican restaurant. It's more of a sports bar with mexican food items. The food and drinks were good. The DJ was amazing! Service from our waitress was excellent. The restaurant it's self is small and a little cluttered with tables and chairs piled up in the back and hallway. Tables are close together a little difficult walking between tables and around people standing.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Peso Mexican Cantina in Decatur, GA and wanted to share my experience. Overall, I would rate it a three-star establishment. Let me break it down for you. First and foremost, I have to commend Peso Mexican Cantina for their delicious sweet hot lemon pepper wings. They were truly a delightful combination of flavors and definitely worth trying. If you 're a wing lover, this place won 't disappoint in that regard. However, I did encounter a few challenges during my visit. Parking was quite challenging as the place was completely full. It took some time to find a spot, which can be frustrating. Additionally, the restaurant had a DJ and later turned into a Karaoke night. While some people enjoyed the lively atmosphere and made space to dance and sing, it might not be everyone 's cup of tea. It 's something to keep in mind if you 're seeking a more relaxed dining experience. Another aspect that concerned me was the presence of security later in the evening. As someone who is not familiar with the area, it made me a bit apprehensive. However, I understand that it 's important for the safety and well-being of all patrons, so I appreciate the effort in that regard. One thing that struck me as odd was that despite the name Mexican Cantina, the menu had a lot of American food options. From burgers, fish, chicken, and pork sandwiches to shrimp Po 'Boy and Ribeye Steak, it definitely had a strong American influence. On the Mexican side, they offered tacos, quesadillas, Mexican pizza, and shrimp ceviche. If you were expecting a solely authentic Mexican dining experience, this might come as a disappointment. However, if you 're open to a fusion of American and Mexican flavors, you might find some dishes that suit your taste. While Peso Mexican Cantina didn 't fully meet my expectations for an authentic Mexican dining experience, their sweet hot lemon pepper wings were a standout dish that I would definitely return for. The parking situation and the lively atmosphere may not be ideal for everyone, but if you 're looking for a place to have a great time with music and karaoke, this might be a good fit. I hope this review helps in providing an honest and balanced perspective. Happy dining!

I was a frequent customer at this restaurant until yesterday. I will not patronize this business ever again. I have experienced bad service here occasionally in the past but have looked over it and continued to come back. I sat at the bar and ate my meal and requested a chili to go. When I arrived home , I didn’t have the condiments to go with my chili so I couldn’t eat it. I called this morning to return the untouched chili for a fresh cup with the condiments. I spoke to the manager Dorothy who stated that she could not replace the chili but could only replace the condiments. I informed her that i drove an hour to come there and would have to drive an hour back and felt like as a customer, the least that could be offered was a fresh cup of chili in exchange for not only the untouched chili but for the inconvenience of driving an hour. She adamantly told me that she couldn’t replace the chili. I was so disappointed to speak to a manager that was so rude and uncaring. Others have warned me to stop patronizing this place due to the unprofessionalism, inaccuracy of orders, and mainly the food quality. The food used to be good but now is subpar at best. I can truly say that for me and my family … we won’t ever come back.
