Clementine has been one of our favourite restaurants since we had our wedding reception there 20 years ago. Its new edition in Val David is every bit as good as the Hudson version we knew. On our latest foray our party of four selected different menu choices and three out of four were ecstatic. My wife’s duck foie gras mousse was subtle and great tasting. The lobster bisque was pronounced excellent by one of our party, while I found that the popcorn sweetbreads had a soggy batter that detracted from the gentle flavour of the sweetbreads and it wasn’t enhanced by the shrimp cocktail-like sweet red sauce that accompanied it.My wife’s main course was the calf liver which seemed to be an entire liver. It was a huge chunk about 2 inches thick, but cooked to perfection. This dish may prove to be too overwhelming for many with lesser appetites. I thoroughly enjoyed the “leftovers”.Our friend had the lamb which was served in an appealing circular presentation and cooked perfectly. Her partner had the beef skirt steak and it was deemed excellent.I had the fish

It is not often that such a delightful restaurant can be found in a small town, even in a Lauentian resort area.Our problem was which if the mains...which run from fish, to calf liver to sweetbreads to beef.I selected a most delicious piece of calf liver while my partner opted for dore. Both had satisfactory accompaniments.The deserts are decadent. This is a husband and wife operation not to be missed if you are in the neighbourhood.
This restaurant lived up to billing. Fabulous food and the staff could not have been more welcoming and appreciative. We are definitely going back and have told our friends to go.
5 star .... Service and food :-) Entrée foie gras , main course rack of lamb , dessert sundae with butter scotch sauce ..... Excellent !
The food is very good, distinguished yet amicable service and the best is that you can bring a great bottle of wine to go with the food. Never disappointed with Clementine
This restaurant used to be in oka, outstanding , then in hudson, outstanding , now up north. Was always a great restaurant but too pricey for the oka and hudson clientele , not the numbers to keep it in business. I think this time they have the right location. An absolute must and a "bring your own wine" to boot. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
I went here with my sister and friend. We were blown away by the quality of the food. I had the tuna, which I strongly recommend.
We had dinner at Clementine and all we can say was it's amazing. From the first course to the delicious dessert we were raving about everything. We shared a couple of appetizers (salad and the delicious featured clam chowder),then had the vegetarian risotto and vegetable dish along with the special lamb chops they had on feature. Our server was Julie and she offered us exceptional service with lots of humour and fun. For dessert the raspberry cloud and butterscotch sundae were amazing. Highly recommended to eat at Clementine!
