Went there with my boss and colleagues, we all took the Pasta Bar Table d'hote (Entree, pasta bar, dessert and coffee, 23$)My boss and a few colleagues are american, so we had to translate for the waitress, but the cook at the pasta bar was bilingual, which really helps.They start the service with huge breads and a oil and garlic plate, delicious!Most of us got the snails au gratin, which is just a crazy plate of melted cheese an garlic butter, you'll barely notice snails, or know what they taste like alone.For the pasta bar, you go up there, and it's a subway style frenzy of choices (hot peppers, mushrooms, sausage, ham, cauliflower, onion, green olives, garlic) You tell the chef what you want and he puts it in a frying pan. Then you choose if you want to fry it with some white wine, theb they ask you which pasta (Penne, spaghetti, farfalle, large shells, spinach linguine). After the vegetables are done, they'll let you make your sauce, you can mix and match (Spicy tomato sauce, meat sauce, tomato sauce, white cream sauce)They put the sauce in the pan with the pasta, give it a few toss and heat it up, then all goes in the plate.), which I found was a really big portion. Three of us didn,t finish the plate.Dessert was apple pie, I didn't particularly like it, seemed like it was store bought, made with apple purree, which really.. In quebec in October, you should have the best freshest apple pies. But the other desserts were great.Overall great experience, really like the bar idea, service was nice!
