As someone who grew up on Angelo's we only went to Ricci's the week in july Angelo's closed or if we wanted sicilian. Ricci's is just as delicious as Angelo's and Gerry's. They do a nice butter crust which is different from the others. Delicious pizza.
Always a nice little shop to stop at with some friends for a Saturday night pizza. We all got a small pizza, thick, and sweet sauce. Always love the perfect cheese to sauce ratio!
We were told that the pizza here was the best pizza we will ever eat. We eat a lot of pizza...so this was no small task! We were told by our local friend that we needed to order this: Sicilian Pie with onions, sausage, extra cheese and sweet sauce. This was pretty mindblowing. The sweet sauce, the dough, the sausage....We thought maybe a touch too much cheese, but then again, we ordered extra. We figure that regular cheese might not be enough, extra cheese was just a wee bit too much...but we'd rather have more than not enough. They've eaten here a zillion times, so they know...that was what to order. So glad during the COVID-19 Pandemic, they were open through the door window. We took an almost 2 hour ride for it, and super glad we did. Why would anyone visit Old Forge (anywhere there) is beyond me. This place was awesome!
Best pizza EVER! (Sicilian is SUPERB) They know what they're doing here!! No frills pizza shop with a BUSY phone line for pick up delivery. Never disappointed in the fried dough and tasty sauce. The sweet pizza is good too!
No frills sort of neighborhood place. If you want to grab a beer or pack of smokes to go with your pizza then it's the right place for you. The employees were cool and very kind. There are only like two or three useable tables, so you might want to get it to go. THE PIZZA is on point. Got a pan fried Sicilian w/ onion and sausage and it was great. The sauce is WB sweet, cheese is great, baked perfectly. I'll be dreaming about this pizza for a long time.
