My girlfriend and I were in Michigan for the weekend and decided we'd drive over the border for the evening. Once in Windsor we decided to get dinner. Without knowing anything or anyone in the area, we pulled up the in car GPS in the rental car and found places close by. We thought Riviera Pizza sounded good. What an awesome choice this was.This was my first time ever in Canada and I'm glad I found this place! I'm a huge fan of Italian food and pizza and consider myself pretty picky. This pizza was absolutely fantastic. I can't describe what flavor made the sauce so good, but I've never had any sauce like it. The flavor was perfection. They brought out breadsticks, which were also awesome, to start and the inside was really nice. We were served by the son of the owner, and met the owner who were both extremely polite, prompt, professional and friendly. As I'm typing this I was I lived closer because I'd be eating Riviera Pizza tonight. It really had a quality I haven't found on pizza in a while.The menu was full of great selections, but we got the smaller size (they go all the way up to 32 pieces!) and it was perfect. Cooked to perfection and piping hot coming out. If you live in Windsor, stop by the area, or even live in Detroit, this place is worth the drive.

Riviera Pizza has been a staple in east Windsor for as long as I can remember. It has been revamped with a lovely dine in are. It also offers free delivery. We recently placed two take out orders there. The first was a regular pizza with a gluten free also. The second time we ordered the gluten free pizza with a calzone. Everything was so fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. We were very satisfied.
I don't know why it took us so long to find this place! Great food, good beer and very pleasant atmosphere. Definitely recommend you try it!
It took us 10 years to find the best pizza in Windsor. Reasonable prices good cold beer, you will not find a better sauce anywhere. We are treated like family ever time we come in.
Delicious!! Their pizza is absolutely delicious, the crust is good.. especially their sauce!I never had such delicious tasting sauce in a long time...It tasty, It's sweet, nothing can beat it!! Wow do I love it, usually every pizza I had , was so hot or too spicy... Sweet tasting... My husband always enjoys their fish and chips.. you get 6-10 peaces of fish! The delivery driver is extremely friendly and cheerful... Always a pleasure ordering from hear.... They have many different items to choose from, from their menu, My daughter likes there chicken strips.. and poutine... I ALS like their chicken parmesan sandwich. Good...Very happy,
Loved this place so much before, my husband and I were so tired from moving with three kids. Soooo knowing how we live this place I phoned for delivery. Whomever answered was so rude. Hey I thought we all have bad days, I was tired too. Ordered pizza for my kids and a panzoratti for myself. Worst thing I've ever tasted. How ever the worst part was I was so hungry and tired and totally expected something wonderful since I had a good experience before. Probably won't go back as it wasnt just the food but the man who was rude on the phone as well.
Thin crust, excellent toppings, great cheese. Good value. Our pizza was ready in less than fifteen minutes, and this includes delivering it to our house.
Pizza is very good! And their sauce is delicious.. sweet and tasty, not spicy like others. They have excellent food, fast friendly delivery, I'm still waiting to try their other items on the menu.
