Sarah’s Handmade Ice Cream Wildwood

After dinner at Rakugaki, my fiancé and I went to Sarah's Handmade Ice Cream. It was nice that they had a menu of Classic, Seasonal, Vegan/Sorbet, Alcohol/Tea Infused, and Kid Approved flavors. I'll admit that we were overwhelmed by the number of flavors to choose from. When we got to the front of the line, there was a sign that said you can only sample two flavors. I tried the Bailey's Irish Chip and Pumpkin Ginger Spice Latte. They were both good, but I liked Bailey's Irish Chip a bit more. My fiancé loved the Dark Roasted Expresso Beans. We can't wait to try their other flavors including Black Raspberry Chip, Cinnamon Apple Crisp, Coffee Oreo, Key Lime Key West, Lemon Poppyseed Shortbread, Mint Chocolate Chip, Oreo Lover, and Thai Iced Tea.

The line is worth the wait and it moves quickly-don’t be discouraged-the ice cream is epic!

My kids look forward to this special treat (so many kid-friendly favors) and enjoy it every time! Us adults love it just as much. Yay for a scoop of pure chocolate.

Hands down the best I’ve cream shop anywhere (including sorbet and vegan options . Sarah is a master creator. And the staff is simply the best. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, efficient. Definitely ask them about the flavors, they will know the answers. My favorite is to get a “flight” and share it (maybe!! . That way I get to have lots of flavors! Try it with a friend or on a date night, so fun and delicious.

My first experience at this place was very pleasant the flavors and taste were unique and pronounced. I also love that they are local mom and daughter team who decided to follow their dreams. The service was prompt (and they kept the line moving steadily); the weather was cooperating too, which made the ambiance of the outside seating more appealing. I plan to come back to this scoop shop to bring my out of town friends and family here.

It's a small shop with limited indoor seating. The shop has bookshelves of books for sale with proceeds going to NIH. They offer a great selection of flavors ranging from gluten free and vegan, to boozy and seasonal options. The service is very fast and friendly. The staff greets every customer that enters the door. I went with my sister and her son tonight. He got the Frankenstein ice cream and I got my new favorite, which is the coconut almond brownie. Needless to say they had a happy customer tonight!

Ice cream was delicious. Highly recommend. Great selection of flavors and wonderful consistency.
