Great place to relax and vacation fun and secluded place we go to how often we get a chance. My daughter loved celebrating her birthday and now my wife wants to spend it there too:

Loved the estate-Colorado River, Lazy River, Stargazing area, family bike rides, Streichelzoo... we have integrated riding and it was such a scenic trail ride. Many activities for the whole family! Very simple and relaxing.

We stayed for 3 nights and that was a lot for our family of 4 plus a dog. Bring your own food, snacks and coffee pads when you try to be inexpensive. Service fees are automatically charged to your invoice. Parking is $18 per day with in and out privileges. Dinner buffet was not good, but the breakfast buffet is a good idea. Don't be fooled by the pizza in the café, it's not good. They give you at least two free bottles of water per day and there is a filtered water station from the ice machines on each floor. We didn't use golf or spa, but I heard that was good. Pros: Many family activities (pong, arcade, bags, tetherball, foosball, pickleball/tennis dishes, trails, bicycles(can not take them on trails, clean rooms and well maintained lawns, smores every night, microwave on the floor, spacious mini fridge in the room, seclusion, many dog bag/trash stations Negative: bicycles were filled, cheap toiletries I probably wouldn't come back, but it's good to go at least once. Too expensive, but we went during Spring Break. It would be a little cheaper in an off-week. We drove down...I wouldn't pay for a flight above the resort cost, but if you have a bunch of Hyatt points, definitely use it. We had no points.

Stay at the hotel and enjoyed Sushi by Scratch. Meal time was amazing and cannot wait to dinate again. Room was clean and comfortable. Looks like a great place to visit with children and we can't wait to come back.

Beautiful location and stunning grounds, but the pools and indoor areas are basically all designed for kids, so if this is meant as a girl's getaway, I would choose somewhere else. Also, the value for the money is not what it used to be, as prices for dining and spa and the rooms themselves are quite high. Additionally, there is significant construction going on which was not mentioned anywhere when booking

This resort was very family friendly. The staff all provided excellent customer service. The food is average and the variety is slim. There was a nice variety of things to do on site before midnight. The whole family can enjoy their stay. I do not think you can have a bad room here.

Stayed here for 4 nights for a work event. The place is definitely off the beaten track, making it ~25 minutes to get to Austin by car/Uber. Everything that we experienced was very good, including the hotel breakfast, catered lunches, and bar/restaurant (Firewheel). Staff were all friendly and capable. Rooms were clean and quiet. Lots of fun, family-oriented activities on site.

Spent 3 days at Lost Pines working for a conference. Great staff that was eager to be of help. Kitchen hit non-stop home runs preparing food for 400+. Very nicely appointed rooms with those wonderful, thick towels. Giant flat screen TV. Best part is you leave the highway more than 2 miles away and are surrounded with nature's best.
