they don't even know that this place is a bar. the service can be slow, but it is friendly that eating is really good and huge (1/2 lb burger patties,) and the prices are incredible.

seriously? I'm 63. Since 40 of them, south riley is aware. george belongs to it. a damn good hombre. he was my commander in the battle of the midlife bulge offensive. had swung on a cheeseburger deluxe. to sacrifice his calorie intake so that I can live. live to get an authentic south riley burger to honor georges sacrifice. clogging his arteries with the best burger, which is still available for civilized man! go there. eat one. they call me a sinner. georges geist works most days still. say hello for me.

The food is great. But the service is really slow. If you go, make sure you have time to wait.

This is a bar/store that hasn't changed much in 30 years. Great food. I got the bacon cheeseburger.

Love this place!! Best gizzards around, and what can i say about the burgers other than come try one and you'll be back! Pizza is awesome as well. If you need a cold one, beer is the coldest around!

South Riley is a hidden gem! If you like little out-of-the-way bars with delicious food this is your place! Walk through the little convenience store into the bar behind it, cheap beer on draft and regulars at the bar. All the food is good and reasonably priced but South Riley may have the best Olive Burger and onion rings in the state!
