WATCH IHRE BILL, CHECK IHRE BILL! They have excellent bartenders that keep up with the crowd, but they have screwed me twice and overloaded me. The first time I got it, the second, I didn't. Okay, let's be honest, it's a decent local bar, the decent bands has most of the time and really good bands on regular occasions. The perpetrators are great. The menu is regular run of mill food. It's nothing you can do but it's decent. I'm not saying don't go here, look at your alcohol bill. Let me update this post...... My better half and I often stoges on semi-regular basis, especially when certain bands occur. We were actually overloaded once, while with a group of friends, but that was checked on site (although with an argument with the waitress who no longer works there). The two of us usually fall by $100 or more, so the night in question, we were home and considered a fast drink (2 beers and 2 upper shelf Bourbon shots). The next morning there was a $50 fee, which was what made me go. The bill was only $26 and I gave a $8 tip. It has been completed since then and the correct amount came out. I apologize for my quick reaction and will definitely return there (we would still have if the bill was actually wrong) Thank you. Select for your quick answer.

the music wasn't as good, but the service made up like the live music and all age groups go there, that is the best part it is a mix of all age groups service: 5/5

I wish I could give it zero stars. the responsible bartender obviously does not care about her mozens. if they are not regular, then forget to get good service. she spent more time on her handy and flirted with a guy. eating was not good either.

Good food. Good drank. I'm coming back, especially on a Friday after work. They have many events and this is a place for a good time. Uber is your friend because you will leave tipsy.

I like the live band and the friendly environment amongst customers. We're all out there just to take a day off and do things for ourselves in order to be social and happy. Every man today was a boy and every woman today was a girl...?

I order Chicken Nachos.... the nachos were not good at all. The Chilli that comes with was dry, bug portion but tasteless. I feel bad to send it back to the kitchen so I pay for it anyway....but I will never order them again.

Stooges: Mint Hill NC My now ex-wife got pregnant in the bathroom here on our anniversary. Yup, some drummer of a Van Halen tribute band called Fan Halen put a little baby in the woman I stopped talking to my mom for. She lives in my old house with him now. Just them, their baby, and the singer of the band. None of this information is relevant to my review, but I just want to know the headspace I was in when I went there to grab a burger. Stooges may seem like a dive bar, but that 's only because it is. But it 's a clean fun dive bar. With really good food. You know what, before I get into the food, I have to say this. What really pisses me off about my wife getting knocked up by, what my dad calls, The Atomic Spunk, is that they were a Van Halen tribute band that only played Hagar tunes. Imagine that. Going to see a VH cover band and requesting Jump but getting Amsterdam instead. I mean, listening to Shammy Hagar ruin Right Here, Right Now and thinking, 'Wow, I need a part of that in my belly '. Disgusting. Anyway, I really enjoyed the fries here. Really crispy and not at all slutty like my ex. I 'm sorry, that was uncalled for. My ex was actually a very nice girl. She was a virgin when we met. But I later discovered that she sowed her wild oats with every farmer to plow a field, if you get my drift. I mean, When we got married, her dad told me that I was 1 in a Million. Turns out, he wasn 't that far off. Everyone was super nice in this place. The bartender was funny and was telling jokes and the hostess was super nice. Even the cooks came out and hung out for a while, it was really an enjoyable time. I apologize that I keep going back to this, but it was the drummer. Not even a real musician, but basically a roadie that they let sit on stage. Imagine saying to yourself I want the guy that couldn 't learn guitar to bang me in the men 's room. Right beside the guy pissing blood and the condom machine . The dude couldn 't even put a buck in and buy an extra small rubber? Anyway, I highly recommend coming here to see some live music and grab a bite to eat. Just leave your wife at home.
