We didn't have dinner reservations but they were very accommodating. They allowed us to get our order to go and eat in the beautiful little courtyard behind the restaurant. The sushi was absolutely delicious and tasted quite fresh! Japanese sodas were ordered for the kids. They were very yummy and we kept the unique glass bottles they came in as souvenirs. We found this restaurant on a whim using Trip Advisor and it turned out to be our most memorable meal in Qualicum Beach!

Ordered food to go one night after work. It's a small restaurant so not too much seating. The food was excellent!
We were quite surprised to get such excellent sushi in such a tiny hole-in-the-wall. Do not let the interior fool you!
Large menu, great prices,large servings and very fresh! It's our go too spot and we take anyone who visits the area!
This quaint restaurant was recommended from our massage therapist and we followed up with Trip advisor. Truly the best we have had. We typically eat at Globe Fish Calgary and this surpasses! Peter is the chef and comes out to say hi. Most people order as takeout as it only has 6 tables in a very casual environment. We would recommend the started of 6 tempura scampi in a wasabi sauce, sushi pieces were huge and the Red Dragon Roll was exceptional !!! Please try them out
No flashy frills needed here because the food is delicious. One of those little treasures one stumbles upon.
I recently had the pleasure of dinning at Sushi Hama in Qualicum Beach. Sushi Hama offers a large number of traditional Westcoast sushi favorites. The menu also offers some traditional Japanese favorites. The Takoyaki is excellent. The restaurant is quaint with a limited number of tables. Service was prompt and attentive, Sushi Hama was an excellent choice for Sushi in the Oceanside area.
Quite basic small cafe but fabulous food. The service was good although the server was not too familiar with the menu. Fortunately my friend could help as I am not too familiar with sushi. It was quite busy with diners and people waiting for take outs but apparently that is normal. I really enjoyed the sushi, the salad which came with it had a very tasty dressing and went well with the sushi, Nigiri and Sashimi in the Hama Box I chose. The food is delicious and not too expensive.
