We visit The Charles regularly and enjoy the quality of the food and the service every time. Depending on the daytime, it can sometimes be noisy inside. However, this is only an observation and not a complaint. We sat outside once and that can be noisy as there is traffic from the main street nearby. Again, this is only an observationinformational note and not a complaint. We LOVE the creativity of the food and bar menu and that The Charles uses locallysourced ingredients. The skill and passion for food and flavor comes through every time, every plate. Personally, I am a huge fan of the LP Burger and this is the only burger I will eat, anywhere. However, the entire menu will not disappoint... cream of crab soup, Kungpao Brussels Sprouts, Lettuce Wraps, Meatloaf, Salmon, BRUNCH ALL.JUST.DELICIOUS. So, go now! Great environment and good food but more choice or a rotating selection of food would prefer more sandwich selections when a full entree is not desired
Requested outdoor seating, hostess took us inside. We explained that we felt more comfortable dining outdoors. At least outdoor patio heaters but all were out of propane. Why have outdoor seating available if none of your heaters work?? Food was decent, but not worth the price. Bathrooms were dirty, out of toilet paper and trash can was overflowing
Service and ambiance were great. Other than the Buffalo shrimp appetizer, the entrees and dessert were a bit of a disappointment in terms of flavor. The mac and cheese and fried chicken lacked flavor, fried fish was prepared using trout which was fine but the skin was left on so it wasn’t very palatable. The cheesecake wasn’t great either. I’d return but maybe try their burgers next time. And no dessert

Absolutely loved our brunch experience at The Charles! The food was delicious, fast and fresh! Highly recommend the French toast sticks, chicken waffles and steak eggs. Monique provided exceptional customer service as well! She was very welcoming, patient and knowledgeable about the menu. Will definitely be returning
