The Fat Cow And Oyster Permanently Closed

I want to love fat cow because the style/menu/ambiance so much maybe my expectations are just too high. we do not go as often as I want, but on the basis of the last visit maybe we try to celebrate another place than our going. this visit was for hubby 's bday and celebrate new job appys, drinks all started ok (no east coast oysters, but offered premium west coast at their place.) as the meals nude 's steak missing chimmichurri (best part) and waitress said she grabbed it immediately as they have hands to bring it out with our meal times. he had finished his side before he arrived and she had returned to the kitchen window several times without bringing it over. I was 't a fan of my teller (short ribpasta) and she offered me something else to get, but since I ordered it, I was ok keeping it (I am not this kind of person it was just what I expected.) small small pieces cube short rib that were hard to find among the huge lasagna style nuddies. after that it was when it went downhill not sure if I insulted the waitress as she recommended the short ribpasta, but we never saw her again the rest of our time there. plates and jars that are deleted from another server, and then nothing, no check in re: dessert, no wonder if we want coffee, another drink etc. I had to point out someone we wanted to pay and go. it is as if they had written us out for a few small things (that was honest was not so big of a deal.) I do not expect perfection in any meal and sometimes they arrange something that tastes good, but is not what they thought it was that part of the experience of eating, but simply ignore us after being where they lost me. Maybe they were just busy (we had an early reso,) but while there were a few tables, it was not excessively busy, based on my earlier experiences there.

on Friday night it was so busy, but the staff was amazing. there were two large groups and only two of us, but the service was absolutely great! eating excellent and reservations very suggested as this place is very popular! that's worth it!

it was the best new restaurant we have been trying for a long time. everything was great. great feeling of urban retreats. great eating. the list goes on and on. will come back.

This was our fourth time here. The first time was amazing, second was meh, third was delicious, fourth... again, meh. My steak was so salty I was scraping it off. Our server was very nice but scarce. We probably went at least 15 minutes before someone took our drink order. We shared an appy but weren’t given any utensils. We were sitting in the corner without anyone else around us. Unfortunately, I think we were forgotten. I don’t know if we’ll be back. It’s hit and miss.

Had family in town and always a pleasure to take them Fat Cow. Food is always good, and the service is always amazing!

Great seafood value, trendy causal, fat cow Caesar was amazingly good.

Mediocre I would have to say. Oysters were not that fresh relative to higher end restaurants. Basically this is a mid-level pub that tries to go upscale, but ultimately falls short of expectation.
