The Fischin' Hole Saloon

Foxhole is the new name, now. But it's being run by the same group of folks in Med Lake who have been running this main street, stand alone, backwoods hard liquor joint for decades. I--like many others--are glad they roll up their sleeves and unlock the doors seven day a week for the dive bar experience. Food is all standard, but decent, FSA griddle/fry fare. Local folks are all friendly. And whatever they have been called over the years, it's the one and only place in that town I'm cool with visiting every so often. Their cooks do a solid job, and the banter from sitting at the bar is always a hoot. I'd love to say I feel years younger, with a predominantly senior crowd when we visit here, but being second youngest to my lovely Wifey when we go is always what I'm gonna be...

It is now The Fox Hole owned by longtime locals Matt Sherry Sutton. We had lunch there today and we shared the Reuben. Our order cam within 5 minutes of ordering it was the BEST reuben I have ever had! Nice crispy tater tots fresh tasty crispy dill pickle spear. Great service, food a fun place! They were packed on a Monday for lunch handled it all so gracefully! We will definitely be back whenever we come to town...we came from the Valley! Worth the gas, for sure! ???

Food Could be good if they didnt insist on frying Everything (hint: you don't Fry potato skins, also you are supposed to put the potato back in the skin). Food is constantly way too greasy, as they add unnecessary ingredients that add to the greasiness of the food.Establishment is disorganized, often understaffed, and appears to hold a high turnover rate since the employees change frequently. At times you Kay wait over 30 minutes for overcooked cheese sticks.This is just a bar that Thinks it's a restaurant, but is not. Save your money and time, Cheney has better ran restaurants with real food.
