The Kitchen is our favourite place to eat on the island. The food is exceptional and the service is excellent. We have not been disappointed by anything on the menu. My favourites are the Jojo pizza, the baked camembert appie or the lemon hummus appie. We consider ourselves 'regulars ' because we are there so often.

A real gem. The food was excellent, the service friendly and efficient. Having LPs and a record player a real surprise. Highly recommend to have at least one meal here during your stay.

I recently visited Gabriola and had the opportunity to eat at The Kitchen, what a gem! I loved the calm friendly atmosphere, it was inviting and spotless. Those French fries were so delicious and my cod was breaded and cooked to perfection. Hazel’s desserts were incredible. My friend tried the Orange olive oil pound cake and I had the cheesecake. Both were delicious with beautiful presentation. My cheesecake was served in a tea cup lined with phyllo pastry and then two beautiful creamy and rich scoops (like ice cream) of the cheesecake! Yum all round! Thanks Gabriola and The Kitchen, I will be back.
