In town for a family event so stopped in for dinner. This is the dirtiest looking restaurant inside I think I have ever seen. I can't imagine any reason there has to be a trolley of dirty dishes that were taken from tables parked in the middle of the restaurant. This seems to be standard practice as it was there for the whole meal. You have to pass it on the way to your table or the salad bar! There were crumbs on all the dining chairs that I could see. And these didn't look like they were just from the previous diner. The decor looks like it hadn't changed from the 80's. The fake plants hanging on the overhead beams look like they hadn't been dusted since they were put up there. The ambiance was just dingy and sticky overall. That being said, I ordered a burger as it was charbroiled and I figured it would be safe enough. It was not bad. The ketchup bottle was sticky and the mustard and relish were deposited on the table in plastic take out packs. The baked potato came in a foil pack and tasted like it was steamed, kind of gummy. Coleslaw tasteless. Hubby had mediocre pork ribs with overcooked frozen carrots. I felt so creeped out by the inside of this place I wouldn't even chance the washroom. We don't go for fine dining all the time, far from it, so that's not what this is about. We love a good diner anytime, roadside BBQ even. This place seems to tout itself a sort of steakhouse. Really, we should have gone for take out pizza. The server was friendly and efficient. No fault there. Best part of the experience. Please get those dirty dishes out of sight!!!

Although a bit of a hike from where we live, I'm never disappointed when we eat here. The food is great. My favourite is the Camphouse. They have a wood grill where you can watch them grill your steak and the smell is amazing. The decor is suiting to the name of the place. Plenty of wood tables and chairs giving it the feeling of a lumberjacks establishment.

Most food is great here and large portions. Decor is outdated, salad bar at time is questionable, and chairs completely uncomfortablefor those of us with big butts. But there is something to be said for consistency and variety. Something for everyone.

Good food, took a while as they were swamped due to the road race and it being Sunday. Servers and bus boys were all very friendly. Price was fair for all the food we ate.

Had dinner on a Friday night, pot roast was incredible! Melt in your mouth, huge portion, five of us had dinner for $93 plus tip. Can't say enough, one of the best meals I have had in a long time

Have had breakfast many times at the Lumberjack ,(might be why my cloths dont fit any longer ) They serve lots of food on your plate ,quick and tastey . Servers are very congenial ,happy to serve and usually joke with the customers ,a home like setting and one feels welcome when dinning there . they are wheel chair accessible ,family friendly and always helpful in the suggestion department. I have had lunches there as well ,which are also very good and such a variety of fair on the menu . Great people right down from the kitchen to the cash ,if this review was helpful please indicate after your read thank you

First time there on Friday with a group of friends. Great, efficient, attentive service. They have an all day breakfast, had the eggs Benedict...terrific! Everyone enjoyed their meal. Good sized portions, excellent prices. Will go back for sure.

The coffee tasted like water and was served cold. Asked for new and better coffee they gave us the same. Then charged us $5 for the coffee we complained about. Food was greasier than anything I've ever eaten. Under cooked eggs. Toast wasn't even toasted. Took us 5 minutes to get ketchup out of ketchup bottle. Waitresses were insanely over tabled and barely any service. Sure it looks cute in there but thats it. Never will return. Try Marias in Amherstburg! Best price best food and better coffee then Tim Hortons!
