We would never expected high quality restaurant food at small museum café. We had one of the best seafood chowder that we ever had. It was a scallop chowder with bacon. The scallops were pan-fried as you watched and added to the chowder broth. The chowder was fantastic. The chowder came with home-made bisquit which was also very good. We had lunch to before taking a fossil cliffs tour. The lunch was inexpensive and very worth it!

Cookies tea and biscuits were all good. Molasses cookies were especially good. Service was friendly and fast. All in all a very pleasant visit to an interesting museum

When walking down to the stairs to the fossils, you pass the Roundouse Cafe. Stop at the cafe before or after your visit because the goodies here are so very delicious. This is a good investment for your on-going adventure and worth your time. The amazing chef makes everything cookies as well as the most moist ginger molasses cookies. I ordered the soup of the day, vegetables and rice, and I got a biscuit. Oh, this cloud biscuit was filling. To go, I picked a sandwich which she took time to prepare and also grilled. So, really a panini. There are no tips expected so do tip away if pleased because the chef goes over and beyond. I had such a lovely meal here - and found her hospitality delightful!

Isn't Sunday the perfect day for going out for breakfast? With a mango smoothy and a surprising great breakfast! King's is not a place I would have picked
