beautiful small picturesque Italian restaurant on the north fork of long island, her artichoke appetizer is a meal in itself, and good the trip only for, they have a fully equipped bar many weine to choose, service was excellent, I had to rigatoni special, which is very good, the calf was also excellent

Could have been 5 stars. Empty bread basket and other items should have been removed after twenty minutes. Or wait staff might have offered to refill the bread basket, but they just kept walking by, i.e., Don't look at me; you are not my table Seared tuna appetizer was perfect, as was the winter salad. Bread was delicious as was the escarole and beans side dish. My husband's chicken Briano was excellent! I have food sensitivities (nightshades) so I asked for the cod to be prepared without peppers and tomatoes. Wait staff said no problem, but I should have asked for specifics. The chef simply recycled sauce from escarole and beans and added a few clams to purple potatoes for an OK entree. That was redundant. Apple crumb dessert was yummy, but nobody warned us about how hot the filling under the ice cream was. I burned my tongue. People, it's the little things!

Terrible tasting and overpriced food, unfriendly and inattentive waitress, place is musty smelling, tap water tasted like it came through 100 year old pipes, bread was hard and the Soda was some knockoff brand, not Coke or Pepsi.

I eat in this spot a lot since I work right next to it. I have to say the service is always great and they keep the place well kept regularly. Pricing is affordable and they serve large portions.

Went with some friend for the first time last Sunday evening. The good was excellent but the service from the waitress was not intentive at all. It was like she could care less about working that day. Can't remember her name but she definitely needs retraining.
