We had a very nice experience at Wildman's. Service was friendly and efficient. Everyone enjoyed their food -- from steak sandwich to seafood plate. If you are looking for a good meal in the Interlakes area, you won't go wrong.

Excellent food! The cabbage role and perogies as good as Mother used to make! Good service, very friendly staff and great prices. A must visit.

2 of us went for Prime Rib Buffet on the Labour Day Long Weekend. We placed a reservation, but there was a timing mixup. In spite of this we were seated immediately with courtesy and friendliness. The food was excellent and varied; the price was reasonable; there was a good beer selection. The dessert selection, including fruit and a chocolate fountain were fantastic. And the staff attitude - welcoming, friendly, helpful, courteous - just made the evening. The place was lively and busy. The diners ranged from singles to a table of seven. For sure we will be back next year, probably more than once.

Main problem at this restaurant is actually getting a table and being able to order food. They close at 8 pm but stop taking orders well before that. They also won't accept any large groups (as in 4 or more) most evenings. The first time we tried to eat here, we waited to be seated but when we were basically ignored, we found a table and took a seat. After about 15 minutes the waitress finally came to our table and told us that the kitchen wasn't taking any more orders. It was 7:30 pm. The next time we went here, we arrived much earlier and were told that we were lucky because there was one table not reserved (there were about ten tables completely empty from then til closing). Service was a bit slow and not very friendly. A group of eight was turned away at 7 pm. As we sat there, it became clear that the waitress and the cook were the only two employees. There was no way they could accommodate more than three or four tables at a time even though there is enough seating for at least four times that. The food itself is not bad.

My son and I went for dinner, second time around, and got in for dinner because we had made a reservation. Food was really good but was only warm. Salads were really good. Waitress was very polite. I didn't understand the concept of the waitresses handling the salad and dinner plates to give to the customer. There was ham, turkey and stuffing, prime rib, mashed potatoes, mixed freshly cooked vegetables, lasagna, mini yorkshire pudding and desserts with a chocolate fountain and a melon fruit kabobs. I thought it was very pricey but good.

11 of us arrived at Wildmans for dinner on Friday of the Canada Day weekend. We were chastised by the server for not having a reservation. We had considered reserving but decided if we had to be seated separately, that would be okay. Server seated us at a large table together which was marked Reserved, scolded us repeatedly and said we were very lucky as this was not normal to have room for this size a group. There were many empty tables and the restaurant was not even a quarter full and we had gone for the buffet! Long story short, the buffet was very very good! The service was okay. Had we not been scolded it would have been a better visit
