After I first met WildEdges offers at a bar in Telluride, I was antsy to make the trek to Cortez to taste more of what they brewed. The taproom is quiet, relaxed and full of mountain scenery/pictures. The small terrace outside offers more seats in an unspoiled environment, something reminiscent of a city café. The beers are absolutely amazing. The selections lead to the gamut of sours, to IPA's to the occasional darker porter stout. Don't let yourself be fooled, WildEdge's Forte are sour and bottle-cooked. Ava, they do it right. I know Cortez is a long way from everywhere, but once here it is just the only place to sit, relax and swallow the hours away.

Great place for a drink and easy to hang. All their selections were really good

Good location and terrace. Very nice selection of beers (in contrast to many craft breweries they focus not only on IPAs). If you try in sour beers Island Dream or most of their barrels of old beers!

Had only one farm house season, 6.8%, and shared some coffee stouts with my partner. We also ate, I had a grilled cheese, he had the club sandwich good and the beers were good. This is the best place we have been in Cortez since arrival 6 nights ago. If you want a great atmosphere (we sat outside, the music could still hear), good beer and decent food, this is the place to go to Cortez.

The only dog-friendly place for a tasty beer in town.

Nice brewpub. Good selection, friendly staff. They close a bit early, but the whole town seems that way. Lighting is a bit stronger than you expect from a bar, but that makes it possible to read. The pretzel was yummy, with a a crisp and oily crust. As for the IPA, go with the number 9 over the number 10.

Great selection of beers brewed onsite in a wide range of styles including Belgian ales, saison, sour, cider, stout, and IPAs. They also offer a few wines and a small menu of food items. Good atmosphere, great staff (funny, friendly, and very well-informed about their beers), and ample street parking nearby.
