Zante's Bar & Grill

A friendly, family run restaurant with lots of variety on the menu. (My favourite: Steak and Goat Cheese Salad-very unique) Also a place that promotes local/regional artwork on their walls. Game nights and other events are welcome here, adding another dimension to your eating experience.

The staff is always kind and courteous. The food is always prepared just the way I want it and we always leave with our stomachs full. Always a good experience.

The restaurant is clean and neat. The server was competent but not very friendly. My wife ordered the Philly steak sandwich and was a little disappointed. it was soggy, very low on beef and kind of tasteless. Mine was a bacon cheeseburger with fries which was pretty good but the gravy that was supplied for my french fries was grainy and extremely salty.

I had steak dinner with dessert and a Coke $45. It sure if the prices are higher up north but felt the entree prices were high. Yet there were families with a couple of kids dining in. Food was nice and hot. Taste good too.

The steak was cooked perfectly to our specifications, seasoned just right, not too salty! The portions were generous and the presentation was great, too!

Food was okay, but nothing great. I was not happy with the beer that the server recommended, but was still charged for it, even though I mentioned that it wasn't what I was looking for, and didn't drink it. I guess I should take beer recommendations.

I visited the Trivia Night for the first time last week. It was a great time and the food was wonderful also. The restaurant had several craft beers on tap as well as many others available. In addition, there were a couple of red wines on tap which was another surprisingly good experience. Much of the food on the menu is sourced locally when available
