We have eaten here for more than a decade. It is under new ownership. We visited twice in August 2017. My wife and I went to the Hideaway for a quick dinner. I was looking forward to their fish and chips and she ordered the chicken and linguine. She really liked the chicken and found it filling and tasty. My fish and chips were utterly disappointing. The fish was half cooked and the breading was soggy. (TO OWNER: The fish truck is Apsley is twice as good at half the price. If you can't make it well, then take it off the menu!)Also, unless you like sweet wine, don't order it by the glass. Their house wine is to be avoided. The second time we went with my son, my brother-in-law and ourselves. We all ordered the rib special and it was very good. We also order a bottle of wine (Malbec) and it was excellent. Much more enjoyable experience.I think the prices are a bit expensive for what they have and the location, but there are very few "nice" restaurants in the area. For that reason, it is worthwhile visiting.
