great restaurant ambiente, but the tables were packed like sardines. we had very little chair-arm room and other customer workers would constantly push our chairs. we were also in the middle of the dining room so we were not able to experience the dessert car that was a summer. the sampler spring rolls were quite delicious and it is shocking how much taste they had for a bit so small. the cocktails were too to taste, but at least she masked the alcohol taste. my cowboy 20 oz ribeye was good, but definitiw not $75 good. I can buy an American wagyu ribeye and cook it for $25 less and make it better. my sister sirloin steak was on the edge too raw (see picture, I thought it was medium rare, but she contradicted.) I think the waitress has confused her production with her friend who ordered his steak raw. my wife said the Atlantic salmon was the best laugh of her life. creme brulee was a good dessert, but the vanilla punsch missing, which we enjoy. was more so simple smooth and sweet. very nice waitress, she gave us extra bread and butter to take home (after we condemned them) if that is normally not allowed (what is ridiculous given a price of over $100 per person. in the rule when we go to fine restaurants, they offer all our requests without hesitation.) I prefer capital grill over davio’s for fine eating, as it seems more exclusive and a better culinary experience.
