once this was an amazing little stop with great eating and ice and great service....now it's just disappointing and not the time better off.

I want to start by saying that this place had the best prices in the Black Hills for ATV rentals. My friend and I rented a 2 seater for half a day for $200, which I thought was a fair deal. Wayne the owner is an ingenious guy who made the whole process of rental and navigation of the trails a breeze. He chose a route with magnificent views and lots of fun on the way. This will be a place I visit every time I am in South Dakota. For anyone who has an itch for offroading and is looking for some fun in the hills, this is the place for you.

Great place for a burger and pommes. The food was hot and fresh and ingenious.

The burgers are really good, and the Asian food with a spin was also interesting. We were on the way from Hill City to Deadwood and that was an intermediate place to stop and relax for a while. Its small places like these that need to stay in business, those that offer something you can get nowhere else.

We can't say enough good about this place and the owner Wayne. My husband and I are from the area, but have never taken the time to travel the hills from the main roads. Wayne made this a breeze. He gave us a map and stressed the ways he would recommend for views. His recommendations were not disappointed. The views were spectacular. We even took some other ways that were on the map and not highlighted. Extremely impressed by what our local black hill has to offer. Also, the owner made us feel like we were family instead of a just other costumer throughout the whole process. I'm always worried about renting a unit from someone when they say you've damaged something that was like you got it. Wayne told us everything that was cosmetically wrong with the unit (cracked fender) when we checked it. We have the opportunity to look at unity with him when we left and when we returned. He didn't try to scare us on something. Its units are long-lasting, hard working machines and we even put them on a few tracks. Everything works exactly as it should. Again, my husband and I would recommend this company to anyone who explores the hills.

Yum! We ate here today and it was amazing! one of the best food places we stopped at during our trip to SD. The two girls working the food area were absolutely awesome. The lady running the gift shop next door is also super friendly! Next time I come to SD I will go out of my way to eat here. Try the chicken salad croissant and fried pickles!
