The Pounding Fathers

We had a mixed experience. Generally, the food was good, but the service was bad. We ordered the pad Thai. It was delicious, but actually pretty sweet. We also ordered the eggplant sandwich. It was dressed with onions, salads and tomatoes. The choice of salad and tomatoes was quite strange and I took them off. The soft drinks came in plastic cups that had a strong taste of beer. It was a little weird. To dessert we had the bread pudding. We were surprised that there was no alcohol. It had a strong butterfly taste that was unexpected but very good. The waiter never looked after us. We needed both extra napkins and drink refills.

Very recommend the mules for adult beverage lovers and the Tatonka Steak was cooked for perfection. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. We will definitely come back. We also had the Drunk Chicken, which was amazing!

Heaven on a plate. this food was absolutely delicious and the beer was even better. our serve was attentive and stained. his beer recommendations were perfect. If I'm ever back in town, I'm a certain stop.

I had an amazing experience here! The food was amazing and the staff were super friendly! The beer was really great and they had live music. Overall if you are driving thru Custer you need to have dinner here and some of their beers!

5 Star food experience in the upstairs dining! I wish I'd known about this place before now! Some of the BEST food in Custer- especially steak... and pretty good craft beer too
