California Fish Grill, it opened fifth location in Foothill Ranch, just a few minutes' walk from our house. Sure, there are many seafood restaurants, but what was above their menu was their price. Your menu seems to focus on what seafood it still serves in a variety of ways in preparing fish. We imagined that this restaurant will be our new best friend. Our first experience was simply a Sunday afternoon to go experience. I order the grilled Mahi Tacos, my husband ordered the beer dipped fish taco along with the Cajun shrimp tacos and my daughter ordered a frit combo of Calamari Fries. Before we actually taste the food, we all commented on how difficult the fish were Tacos. Kudos for not stingy with the protein, but each taco had no fusion of flavors. It tasted like we ordered fish sauces from a restaurant that usually does not serve fish. Every taco was heavy and surprisingly unsatisfactory. The Calamari looked and tasted as if he had been reconstituted, then fried in cute sticks. It wasn't sweet. Okay, I admit, it was like a bad first date with a very attractive person, I could just try this restaurant again. I really want this convenient location and perfect menu to work for us. Stay on it.

The first time in this restaurant. Order cheeked salmon with garlic butter, grilled zucchini Coleslaw. WOW. The salmon was soooo good! It was so moist. It was perfect!! The grilled zucchini was brilliant, you can taste the grilled taste. It is not baked, then also deep roasted, it is healthy. The Koleslaw was even very tasty and I am super picky about Koleslaw. It was the sweet way and had almonds in it. YUM. This place rocks. I love it! Said the cook personally. Lunch fish plate less than $10.00 for excellent fish. Write a review to know Foothill Ranch, eat your fish there!!! I was the only customer in the place that was surprising considering how big the food is. I'm sure I'm back! I hope you try it, it's a great find! = o P
I've eaten here about half a dozen times and I've never been disappointed. The grilled fish is the best freshest I had. Tried this white tablecloth restaurant and find my self demolished because I compare it with CFG. The Calamari is cut by Calamari Steaks and has another feeling about the small usual rings, but if you know what it is, you will love it. Very recommended.
