such a nice staff. I was a little tip out of a generous shooting, but the steak I had was the best I had in a few years.
this place is quintessential elmira! it's a past around and eating is pretty good, the prices are not bad. it is worthwhile for the atmosphere alone.
meal was okay, but slowly getting our food.
We live on Long Island, NY and we have three German restaurants within 14 miles of us.But none of those restaurant’s German food comes anywhere close to the quality the Octoberfest dinners Charlies Café offered us.The food was just delicious. Absolutely the best potato pancakes I have ever tasted. And the red cabbage was freshly made, not something preprocessed.My Pork Schnitzel was crisp and tasty and my wife raved about her Stuffed Cabbage. I tasted it and it wasn’t the standard dull, mild meal so common everywhere else but had a tasty flavor to it.We were here in Elmira just one night and totally glad we visited Charlies Café.
