My visit to Squisito Pizza and Pasta was no coincidence. I went to Burke Lake Park Marina to make some movies and before I went there, I knew I had to take a bite to dinner. So, I found myself at Lorton Shopping Centre and decided to go and eat something. I was greeted by a nice young lady named Mallory. She advised the special and presented the pizza cake on the display. She was very thoughtful and acquainted when I ordered two slices of meat lovers pizza with a drink. I told her I was eating, and in a flash she threw me the table. When my food was brought out, I was impressed that the pizza was not hot like other places I visited. The temperature was prefect. Perfect enough that I could dive into my slices of pizza without burning the roof of my tongue. Mallory had come by to see if my pizza was good, and I told her that it was perfect that I told her that the temperature was right on the money. She told me the pizza is earth at 475 degrees for a few minutes, depending on how busy it is. In any case, the pizza was not too hot and ready to enjoy. Later I met with one of the owners, Chris. Chris came by to see if I enjoyed my food and gave me a background or a history of the restaurant. He said they were here for years to serve the community, prosecution and veterans. I felt very welcome and my experience makes this place on my way to lists for food.

The first time here. Pretty good meat sauce spaghetti. Smaller Italian place with some tables in the interior. Hubby is a pizzy pizza eater, ate her pizza and he got the meat lovers, he said the crust and the dough wasn't great and the sauce was just so that it wasn't his favorite pizza, but also wasn't the worst pizza ever had. I want to come back and try the garlic knots and fried zucchini frits. they have Pepsi here FYI not Coke products.
Great taste food and nice customer service. You will feel full and happy here after dinner.
Beautiful NY style pizzeria in Lorton. Super clean location is the staff very friendly and welcoming. The pizza looks delicious. I recommend stopping everyone and enjoy a slice among other delicious menu options.
This IS the best pizza in Virginia!! I’m Italian and from NY….so I know. Also, the guy making the pizza pies was so nice and brought the pizza to our table himself, and he was so concerned about if everything was good, etc.. annnddd the staff was really courteous and on top of things. You can not find this at most places these days. I will say that a couple of years ago we came here and it was good…but not as good as today. I had stopped coming because the staff at the time was very typically rude…looks like everything has changed for the better.
Pizza got the meat lovers. plenty of great toppings, crust was fresh and on the thin side, which i love. very good. Alfredo pasta was on the right side of al dente. sauce was good, not sure if it was in house. Serving was huge . Price a bit high considering there was no chicken. Still tasty. Steak and Cheese bread was awesome and perfectly toasted. Steak was good but you don't get a lot. In fact less than most Steak and Cheeses than I have eaten—and that's a lot man. Not a fan of the chopped tomatoes, but that's a first world problem wife said that . Overall though, good. Service the reason why I gave 5 stars. If this was just based on food it would be a solid 4 star. The kids they all were so young! working the front were professional, courteous, and just so pleasant. Food came out quick and they were pretty busy. Decor seemed cleaned, lighting was just right, no loud blaring music or obnoxious shows on TV. Really pleased with my experience. Good solid, no frills comfort food. We actually came to eat at the Pho place next door, but they somehow close at 8 pm?? : Squisito is a straight up American Italian steak and cheese joint that I will for sure comeback and visit!
Second time here and food was awesome! People were friendly and comfortable spot! Got the bbq chicken pizza. Wonderful! And garlic knots are great!!
