I was so excited to go to a tearoom as I am from the UK...the service was so terrible and the food was worse. The soup had to be sent back twice for being cold! The scone with Devon cream was laughable, a TEASPOON of cream and jam was given. It wasn't enough to cover even half the scone, but the server avoided our table after the soup so I couldn't ask for more. When it came time to pay I discovered I paid $7 for 1 scone with a teaspoon of cream and jam. I told the cashier I was completely disappointed and she basically said oh well! I will avoid this place like the plague and I have been telling all my friends and colleagues about the experience.Don't bother go to the bakery and buy a dozen scones!

Absolutely love the home made scones and the taco soup is a must try. Highly recommend this place for a tea and lunch!!! This place also sells beautiful home decor.

We stopped here for lunch at about 2:00 pm.We were the only ones in this small coffee shop/gift store.Ordered soup and a egg-salad sandwich. Great food, good service and super coffee. Not sure anymore what my wife ordered, I think it was a salad.I recommend them, we were happy and not disappointed. Will definitely go back. :-)

This was my first time here, heard rave reviews, but I am from Missouri. We went there for a friend's birthday lunch, suppose have four ended up with 7 persons, only made reservations for 4, oops, problem, nope, management had to put us outside, it was a beautiful day too boot. We all had something different, the food was beyond our expectations, will be going back for sure.

Great place to go for lunch or maybe even just tea & dessert. They have a great selection of teas to choose from and their menu is simple but everything delicious and made from scratch. I usually have the seasonal plate on which you get a small salad (served in desert dish with a yummy homemade dressing), then have a choice of half a crepe or sandwich with choice of 2 or 3 fillings, or half piece of quiche (usually a couple of choices on menu) and also you get a cup of homemade soup served in a teacup. I love this option of a bit of each. You can also choose full sandwiches, quiches etc, They deserts are lovely also, but we are usually too full. Staff are friendly & cheery. Probably good to reserve as they only have a few tables and it is very popular. but that being said, we have dropped in & been able to get seated on occasion. They also have a couple of outdoor tables. A lovely setting and lots of unique gift ideas to look at while you are waiting for your food or just go out to have a look if you are looking for a gift a bit different.

I eat here quite a few times a year and I am never disappointed! We just went for the Christmas Open House and it was very good as usual. They have beautiful gifts and home decor and yummy food!

I was told that this café-artsy shop has changed hands, though that should not excuse overpriced and uninspiring food. The plain scone should have come with Devonshire thick cream - it didn't - the reason when asked was that there was none to be found, but there was no offer to lower the high price. On request, a tiny dish of spray cream arrived. The quiche was bland; the salad overwhelmed by dry thyme. Service somewhat abrupt and offhand - certainly no friendly welcome.

Read about this restaurant in visitor's magazine and thought we would visit. Lovely setting and lovely decor. We were lucky to get a table but they fitted us in. Meal was excellent and staff attentive.
